We were too young and too old. Our teenage years spent with whispered rumours of our best friend's bonerjams and conversely the thrill of catching some girl's eye and feeling much better about our lonely little lives. I swore I'd never say "I'm not a kid anymore", I'm sure I'll still be swearing next year. They never thought to tell us that all this growing up is disapointing as anything. I'd say that's why we're a little different now. We're all older but where did all this misguided pride come from when we're still stuck pollinating our clenched fists at bedtime and falling asleep to the sound of two girls fucking on a laptop. So tell me; is this progress if we're still joking about holding fucking hands again?

Now and then you come across an album that completely bypasses the cold, rational parts of your brain and just makes a straight beeline for your heart. You are defenseless. This is one of those records. Alexander Peterhans
